Larz AProgram: A ‘real life engineering’ trip to add a historical context to the concept of mechanical engineering. A fun and down to earth way to see how we use this one engineering product in our daily lives!

Description: The Larz Anderson Auto Museum provides an exciting educational experience for adults and children alike. Through text, video, and original artifacts, the Museum is able to provide an understanding of the automobile age and how it has changed our society.

Price: $6.50 per person, non participating younger siblings are admitted free but I will need to have a headcount so we don’t overbook ourselves.

Travel TipsThe Museum is not directly available through public transportation, (Approximately a 10 minute walk) you may want to drive.


  1. Just wondering we have a membership for Lars Anderson museum. Do we still pay for this field trip? Thanks

    • I have set up a private tour with this admission price. I’m sure you could show up separately with your membership and just tag along. Normally I wouldn’t suggest this because of space constraints but it shouldn’t be an issue on this trip. It appears we will not be pushing overly close to our maximum headcount on this tour.
