bomesGECO September Field Trip:

To fill spots and meet mandatory minimums the GECO Co-Op is opening it’s September field trip to the group at large.

I asked that they plan it to our theme for the month which is, marine life, waterways and water cycle.
I requested some sort of short presentation, maybe hands on to keep the kids interest and perhaps a scavenger hunt?

When: Monday September 29, 2014 from 10:30 -12:00.

Where:  Biomes Marine Biology Center 6640 Post Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852 • from 10:30 -12:00.

Cost:  $9.07 per student (Thatis $8.50 + $0.57 paypal fees) They require a $200 Minimum so we will have to have 24 people signed up at this price to make this minimum. Also we get five free adults so spread across the 17 adults (1 per family) This discount works out to $6.52 ($6.00 + $0.52 for Paypal) Under 3 is free of charge.

  1. I hadn’t heard of GECO before. Do they have a website? What area are they from.

    • GECO is Great Explorers co-op, brand new this year, they meet in Milford MA. I have been setting up their monthly field trips for them and when we have extra space available I offer the spots to the group at large.
